Stake Interest Assignment to YPF

Assignment of Stake Interest in Río Neuquén and Aguada de la Arena Blocks

Buenos Aires, October 14, 2016. Pampa Energía S.A. (‘Pampa’ or the ‘Company’; NYSE: PAM; BCBA: PAMP) through its subsidiary Petrobras Argentina S.A. (‘Petrobras’) informs that on the date of today Petrobras confirmed the assignment to YPF S.A. of 33.33% of Petrobras’ interest in ‘Río Neuquén’ block, for a consideration of US$72 million and 100% of Petrobras’ interest in ‘Aguada de la Arena’ block (representing 80% of the total interest in such block) for an amount of US$68 million.
