2023 Pampa and Gender Equality

Pampa Energía is the only Argentine company included in the Bloomberg Gender-Equality Index

Buenos Aires, February 1, 2023. Pampa Energía S.A. (‘Pampa’ or the ‘Company’; NYSE: PAM; ByMA: PAMP) informs that for the fifth consecutive year, Pampa has been included as one of the 484 companies from 11 different sectors in the 2023 Gender-Equality Index (GEI), sponsored by Bloomberg, the world’s largest provider of financial information. Moreover, Pampa Energía is the only Argentine company recognized in the GEI index and 33 other Latin American companies.

This Index recognizes the world’s most committed to gender equality companies through their policies and the transparency in disclosing their programs and data related to the matter.

In 2019, the Index’s first edition was composed of 230 companies, in 2020, amounting to 325 in 2020, 380 in 2021 and 418 in 2022. In this new edition, the Index expanded to 484 companies from 45 countries and regions.

‘The overarching drive towards equality is evident with the continual increase of global participation from companies’, said Mr. Peter T. Grauer, the Chairman of Bloomberg.

The GEI brings transparency to gender-related practices and policies at publicly traded companies, which increases the scope of ESG data available to investors. The GEI’s scoring methodology allows investors to assess the company’s performance and compare companies from the same sector.
