Closing of the asset swap with Total Austral

Buenos Aires, August 16, 2023. Pampa Energía S.A. (‘Pampa’ or the ‘Company’; NYSE: PAM; ByMA: PAMP) announces that today, after the completion of precedent conditions, we executed the asset swap with Total Austral S.A. (Argentine Branch), culminating in the acquisition of the Rincón de Aranda block, as previously announced on June 26, 2023.

Hence, Pampa becomes the sole owner of Rincón de Aranda and begins the development of shale oil, diversifying the asset portfolio and reinforcing the commitment to developing Vaca Muerta reserves.
