Buenos Aires, July 17, 2026. Pampa Energía S.A. (‘Pampa’ or the ‘Company’; NYSE: PAM; ByMA: PAMP) announces that today the Argentine Ministry of Economy has approved the RDA Project’s application to join the RIGI under the Long-Term Strategic Export Project (‘PEELP’) category.
The RDA Project comprises the development of the Rincón de Aranda block, located in the black oil window of the Vaca Muerta formation and covering an area of 59 thousand acres. The Project includes the drilling and completion of 259 wells, the construction of a treatment and processing facility with a daily capacity of up to 45 thousand barrels of crude oil and 28 million cubic feet of natural gas, as well as the development of the infrastructure required to transport production, including oil and gas pipelines, and water treatment facilities for the final disposal of flowback water. Total estimated investment amounts to US$4.5 billion and is expected to be deployed through 2041.
RIGI is a framework designed to promote large-scale investments in strategic sectors by providing tax, customs, and foreign exchange incentives for a 30-year period. Its key benefits include a reduced corporate income tax rate, accelerated tax depreciation, the monetization of tax credits, exemptions from import duties on certain goods and export duties beginning in the third year following enrollment, and greater access to foreign currency, among other benefits. In addition, projects approved under the PEELP category are entitled to specific incentives, including an exemption from export duties starting in the second year after admission.
The development of RDA and Vaca Muerta is essential to strengthening Argentina’s hydrocarbon production and export capacity, further enhancing the country’s position in global energy markets. In this sense, Pampa expects virtually all production from the RDA Project to be exported, generating an estimated US$17 billion in export revenues over the Project’s life.
